Auto Gates Sdn. Bhd. has been a pioneer in the automatic gate scene for more than 19 years. In the early 80's the nature of our business was principally the agent for the products (FAAC) manufactured and imported from Italy. Over the years major investment made in our factory, workforce and research & development enable us to localize our production facility. Today, Auto Gates employs over 30 people and is a pioneer in design and manufacture of the automatic gate's system. We export over 30% of our production to other countries. The main exporting market being Thailand, Burma, California and Sri Lanka.

At Auto Gates Sdn Bhd, our customers' base is as wide and divests as our products offering. These include transmitter, gear rack, hitch bearing, bottom roller, nylon guide, solenoid lock, vibrator censor, DC motor, AC coil and electronic control panel.

The key to our success is our people and our products. Auto Gates have created a totally integrated manufacturing process from research & development, design, engineering, production and manufacturing to after-sale service and support. We work together within a living dynamic company that is centered around you --- our customer. Auto Gates distributes its products to all states in Malaysia to approximately 40 dealers. Auto Gates Sdn. Bhd. has been in operation for over 19 years. The evolution of Auto Gates is as follows:
 
1980
Founded and established by Mr. Wong Kum Soon. Initial business operation was by purchasing and installing FAAC products fully imported from Italy.
 1981
Auto Gates became the main agent for FAAC in the Malaysian market. Major projects include Tenaga Nasional (power plant), UEP (developer), Housing Development as well as providing consultancy and architecture solution. Since then, it has been the main for 10 years.
1985
Started on system development to support 'Buy National' campaign and the process of reducing import for the Malaysian market.
 1990
Auto Gates has invested substantial amount of funds into its factory, workforce and research & development to develop a brand new product called Le'tron (1985). Le'tron system's design and technology were then submitted for UK trademark patent.
1990 - 1992
Self assembly work and manufacture system to test market as well as product quality.
 Early 1994
The opening of Sri Damansara factory.
1996
Expanded its product lines namely Celmer and CEI which were intended to provide more features for sliding automatic gates system.
 1994 - 1999
Auto Gates ventured into distribution marketing and has expanded its export markets to Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand and California. Due to the massive demand and growth in the market, Auto Gates started mass producing and distributing its system in the early 1998.
1999

Undergoing a process to expand its product line to provide more features for swing automatic gates system.

As President and Managing Director of the production and marketing division of Auto Gates Sdn. Bhd., my vision is for Auto Gates Sdn. Bhd. to become the suppliers of choice for automation products in a global market. To accomplish this goal we have established a company culture built around a Full Customer Satisfaction Procedure (FCSP). FCSP is our total commitment to understanding, meeting and exceeding our customers' needs and expectations. It is achieved through the total involvement of every Auto Gate's employee at every level within our organization. Nothing is more important to us than the product they need, when they need them and supporting them with the highest level of service.

While other manufacturers continue to produce similar products locally, we strive to expand our operations in the South East Asia region. In expanding our operation abroad we can stay closer to our customers and stay in touch with their needs so that we can continually provide them with the highest quality products and services they have grown to expect for the past 19 years.

I'm proud of our intense commitment to you --- our customer. Auto Gates is much more than state-of-the art facility. It is people who are skilled, dedicated, trained and highly motivated. It is products that are designed and produced here in Malaysia.
